I didn’t know the H3 came with a manual, let alone a Manuel!

Wow. That’s anew one.

I didnt know that either. I guess that makes it a legitimate vehicle.

Sitting in an H3 feels like sitting in a really, really high riding car. I think it would actually be a pretty natural sitting position for a manual. Like, the seat isn’t very high up inside the vehicle I mean.
Did you know they came with V8's? (not available with Mr. Manuel though)

I figured there was a V8 configuration somewhere in there. Manuel is what really caught me off guard.

I had it as legitimate purely because it isn’t the H2.

H3 came with a V8, but I don’t think the V8 came with a manual.
If I could get a manual H3T Alpha mmmm

Is it strange that I kind of want that truck now?

Not necessarily.
I’m actually ok with the H3 and more so now that I know it is acquainted with Manuel.

Per MontegoMan, you can’t.
Also: Available solely with the automatic transmission, a 5.3 liter LH8 V8 engine producing 300 hp (220 kW) and 320 lbf·ft (430 N·m) of torque was added in 2008 for the Alpha model.

correct.
Though I imagine if you wanted to spend way too much money you could get a V8 into one of the manual ones.
When I test drove a used I-5 H3 at a Jeep dealer he was like, “see this V6 moves it around pretty good!” I was like....V6 isn’t available bro. “Oh I really only know the Jeeps”.

I’m considering the opposite kind of swap, sticking a T56 in my truck. Though I feel kind of bad tearing apart what’s a unique beast. Ideally if I was going to do something like that I think I’d rather make my OWN unique beast. Options:
Start with a junker ZQ8 Colorado. Convert rear suspension to trailing arm, or even full IRS. Add Magnetic Ride Control. Add LS7 and 6 speed manual.
Start with a base, manual H3T. Raise. Add large mud tires. Add Cummins.

Well it is just a Canyon/Colorado so yeah Manual would be an option.
